French, Chas. Frodsham & Co., Paris, No. 19514, miniature Gorge cased carriage clock, Petite Sonnerie, with strike/silent lever in the base, and with quarter repeating button at top., C.1900, and with original travel case.
CONDITION:
the leather covered travel case experienced a tight fit in a suitcase and the front panel does not want to stay in. Otherwise, clock and case are in exceptionally nice original condition. Note this would have been made by one of the best Paris firms for Frodsham's Paris showroom at the time, and the case bears serial #18508 on all parts and the original mov't and dial bear the Frodsham number 19514.
